Transform Your Life

Specialized Healing for Sexual Addiction and Betrayal

At Uplifted, we understand the profound pain and confusion that comes from betrayal and sexual addiction. Our dedicated team is here to empower you on your journey to healing, helping you reclaim your life and relationships with integrity and compassion.

We don’t just treat symptoms — we work to understand what’s driving them.

We use specialized assessments, trauma-informed therapy, and structured tools to uncover patterns, name what’s really happening, and bring clarity to the confusion betrayal and addiction often create. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unseen, our process helps you reconnect with your inner voice and take steps toward real, sustainable healing.

Transformation begins with safety — and is sustained through clarity, accountability, and emotional connection.

Our approach blends compassionate presence with clinical expertise, helping clients face painful realities without shame and move through them with support. We empower individuals and couples to rebuild trust, reconnect with themselves and others, and create a future that feels aligned, honest, and fully lived.

Frequently Asked Questions *

  • Accountability after betrayal goes far beyond an apology or acknowledging that harm occurred. Betrayal often involves the creation of a double life where one partner believed the relationship was grounded in honesty, while a very different reality existed beneath the surface. The deepest injury is not only the behavior itself, but the illusion and lies that protected the truth.

True accountability means fully understanding and naming the impact of that illusion: the loss of safety, trust, and shared reality it created. At Uplifted, we focus on accountability that reflects insight beyond the surface and empathy that is attuned — not quick reassurance or surface repair.

  • Uplifted was built to address work that is often misunderstood, minimized, or treated too broadly in traditional therapy settings. We specialize in betrayal trauma, sexual behaviors, and relational injury, and we bring focused training, structure, and nuance to this work. That means we don’t rely on surface-level reassurance, generic communication tools, or quick fixes.

We attend to the deeper layers of harm and tailor care to where each person or couple truly is in the healing process. Our work is grounded in trauma-informed approaches, ongoing education, and a commitment to clarity and accountability.

  • No, Uplifted does not bill insurance directly. We are a private-pay practice, which allows us to provide specialized, individualized care without the limitations often imposed by insurance requirements.

We are happy to provide a superbill that can be submitted to your insurance company if you have out-of-network benefits. We recommend contacting your provider directly to understand your coverage and reimbursement options.

We also offer sliding-scale availability; pricing details are outlined in the next FAQ.

  • Fees at Uplifted vary based on the clinician and service provided. We offer a range of options, including sessions with fully licensed therapists as well as reduced-fee sessions with graduate-level interns who are receiving close supervision and advanced training. We are deeply committed to training thoughtful, skilled clinicians and believe this allows us to provide accessible care without compromising quality. Limited sliding-scale availability may be offered based on need and clinician availability.

  • We don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach to care. We consider timing, readiness, safety, and the specific impacts of betrayal, relational injury, or unwanted behaviors when determining whether individual therapy, couples work, group therapy, or an intensive is most appropriate.

Our assessment helps ensure that the work is supportive rather than overwhelming and that the type of care aligns with where each person or couple truly is in the healing process. We hear so often that couples therapy never helped in the past, I bet we can help you see how that happened.

Individual & Couples Therapy

We specialize in working with individuals and couples navigating betrayal trauma, sexual addiction, relational distress, and emotional disconnection. Whether you’re seeking clarity in your own healing or trying to repair a relationship after a rupture, we create a safe and structured space to explore what’s happening, name what hurts, and begin building something stronger — within yourself or your relationship. As part of our process, we assess where each person is in their healing journey to ensure that the timing and structure of therapy aligns with your readiness, safety, and long-term goals. Our approach is direct, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs.

Sexual Addiction Assessments

Our comprehensive assessments help individuals determine whether their sexual behaviors align with addiction criteria — and if so, how to address them effectively. Using structured, research-based tools, we guide you through a process of clarity and self-understanding, helping you move past confusion, secrecy, and shame toward meaningful insight and change. This service is especially helpful for those who feel past therapy hasn’t fully addressed the patterns at play.

Please note: We do not provide assessment or treatment services related to criminal sexual behaviors or offenses.

Therapy Intensives

Individual & Couples

Therapy intensives offer a focused, accelerated approach to healing for those who want to dig deeper without the limitations of weekly sessions. Intensives are ideal for navigating crisis points, jumpstarting stalled progress, or doing deeper work around betrayal, addiction, and relational repair. Offered in half-day, full-day, or multi-day formats, intensives are customized to your goals and guided by experienced clinicians trained in CSAT and EMDR.

Betrayal Trauma Groups

Our group therapy offerings are designed specifically for individuals healing from betrayal trauma. We offer two distinct tracks to meet you where you are in your journey: one for those working to rebuild trust while staying in the relationship, and another for those navigating separation, divorce, or leaving the relationship behind.

Each group provides a structured, supportive space to process pain, reduce isolation, and gain tools for emotional regulation, boundaries, and self-trust. Led by trained clinicians, these groups help you feel less alone and more grounded as you move through the complex layers of betrayal trauma — no matter which path you’re on.
